Agathe Iracema has music inside her. Since a very yound age she was guided towards it, with the help of the great lady of jazz Sheila Jordan, giving her first concert at only fifteen years old. Since then she hasn't stopped fascinating us with her sweet and profound voice, surprising us with her confidence and daring innovation, and seducing us with her refreshing spontaineity.

 

With remarkable musicians by her side, like famous trumpetist Nicolas Folmer, or trombone player Fred Wesley, coming to sprinkle their genius over the album, "Feeling Alive" (Neuklang/Harmonia Mundi), Agathe reminds us that jazz is alive now more than ever.
